if only i had a bank account that would support the purchase of every single piece in all of her collections . her designs so basic yet creatively structured with enticing prints as simple as triangles or stripes . unfortunately these do not come cheap so when i received the "50% email" i wanted to cry because im not allowed to buy anything pre-europe . ugh! it will payoff eventually . i didn't even buy anything from the boxing day sales apart from things i needed not wanted...aka skin care products . woohoo...exciting...not!

i love this dress .i watched it online for 4 months before i finally ordered it . so why do i call it the cursed dress? as i entered my driveway i saw a tiny package all the way down the other end....hmm tad bit strange when it was supposed to be sign upon delivery! but not so strange when postmen are lazy and i have a dog who thinks everything is a chew toy...even when it costs me $250 . as i approached the package i noticed a rip in it . uh oh . fingers crossed . not to my suprise i unravelled this:

yea...i almost started crying . my nonna managed to fix it...luckily . however for some reason i either unknowingly sit on alcohol turning the back of the dress blue, green and purple or i stain it some other way . here's to hoping the dress doesn't go up in flames whilst im wearing it!

  This dress is one of my most favourite pieces . although it is rather hard to wear on more than one occassion due to the amazing memorable print, style and detailing . I have contemplated on cuting it short but i can't fathom that decision just yet . until then i'll enjoy how the dress flows in the wind and the numerous ways to wear this in which my creativity will allow .

obviously conveyed by my facial expression,  not impressed by this winter weather during a supposed summer . In a season where people wear less clothing it seems that layering during the day is ever so common to fend from the chilling weather . the highlight of this depressing windy cold day was finalising my european summer trip in june 2011 . 6 months and counting .

Why a sketch instead of a photo you might ask? it's my way of calming down after consistent stressful situations .or just certain people .sketching from photos, erasing so the paper becomes thin, splashing water with colours and making them run . yep much rather do this than deal with people, besides paper doesn't talk back .i liked the colours which is why i chose this photo . very summery with the perfect accessories for a beach outfit...maybe minus the ring, watch and necklace . :)

Dress; Romance Was Born Clam Shell Smock Dress, Belt also worn as necklace; Chanel, Ring; YSL Lapis Ovale Ring .

 I bought this dress online after browsing the Romance Was Born Spring/Summer 09/10 collection .I was so amazed by their concept of doilies & pearls, oysters & shells . It really embodies "under the sea couture" . This Clam Shell Smock Dress is made out of Egyption Lace and cleverly sewn together by panels which gives it that 'clam' look .
These are some of the other designs I drooled over . unfortunatley my bank account was only large enough to purchase two items from this particular collection .

Chanel Bondi Junction . 2 weeks ago I was handing my bag over in desperation and now I was entering the store ready for war . after impatiently waiting for the results of my repair, I was informed that they had fixed my bag . 2 minutes later i received a phone call entailing their misinterpretation and that my bag was unable to be repaired . apparently the hardware has changed since 1993 .2 great emotions in a matter of 2 minutes . "but you're Chanel, as if you can't fix my bag" was all that was running through my mind - completely dumbfounded. So Sunday morning I set off ready to collect my broken bag, and also ready to start a war .I anxiously handed over my receipt to the sales assistant and I waited for her to walk out of the back room with a Chaneless bag . Needless to say I was in complete shock when she walked out carrying my bag looking brand new . I almost shed a tear .

I fell in love with this dress when I saw it on fellow blogger elle that morning . its comfy and it just flows in the wind making people like me look ever so graceful (if you saw the other shots you would know what i mean) .we all had a turn running in this dress around Yarralla Estate . stay tuned and you will soon see more pics in upcoming posts . this dress was our version of "the sisterhood of the travelling pants" on this particular day .

While people are teary over our eternal wet summer weather I happen to be lovin it ! Sure i love the beach, feet in the sand, the smell of tanning oil and wide brimmed hats just as much as the next girl but i have a winter 'heart felt' purchase which i'm not ready to pack away in the cupboard .
Yes i hear you say 'what the..?!' but it's hard not to love waking up to rainy days when your getting around in the ever so adorable 2010 Chanel winter rainboots .
It a glorious feeling....

My only regret was not buying the matching rain hat .
So adorably Chanel, it was black with a matching white Camellia flower. I don't tend to walk away from things i really love because i always regret it and constantly think about it...actually obsess is the word !
Like most things Chanel it didn't stay around long and I never found it again....sob sob  :(

This winter gift was inspired by a previous wellies purchase made a couple of years ago . These Chanel's stopped me in my tracks while walking past the shop window, however my first love for rainboots started over a Burberry purchase a couple of years ago. No other luxury brand has been more responsible for keeping the Brits dry and warm over the years .

No doubt the Brits are stocking up on Burberry trenches, ear muffs and other winter woollies with the falling snow and minus temperatures.
